Risk-Based Thinking as a Basis for Efficient Occupational Safety Management in the Mining Industry

This article deals with the role and place of risk-based thinking in today’s occupational safety health (OSH) systems used by mining companies. A brief survey on modern challenges pressures affecting companies, as well structure supply chains, is given. It demonstrated that, despite all measures actions that are being taken, injuries sector: (a) remain a matter serious concern (b) should be examined investigated through lens company’s complexity.
